Spencer Carter, SR. VP

Spencer has a PhD in Analytical Chemistry from the University of Alberta. He has 15 years of experience in bioanalytical CROs in the pharmaceutical industry. Previously, he was the Lab Director at Tandem Labs (now Covance) and the Bioanalytical Director for WIL Research. He is the AOAC protein working group chair.

Edgar Grigorian, VP, Technical Affairs

Edgar holds a degree in biochemistry from the University of Utah. Prior to coming to Dyad Labs, he was a lead chemist and validation specialist for Schiff Nutrition. He has extensive experience in laboratory management, method development, and validation. He is focused on collaboration programs targeting dietary supplement and foods.

Tony Nguyen, VP Corporate Relations

Tony holds a bachelor’s degree in Biological Sciences from the University of California, Irvine. He has 15 years of business and technical experience in the dietary supplements, food & beverage, cosmetic and pharmaceutical industries. Prior to coming to Dyad Labs, his professional experience includes working for ChromaDex Anaytics (now Covance) and Certified Laboratories as well as NSF International.

Aihua Liu, PhD, Director, R&D

Aihua holds a PhD in Pharmacognosy, an M.S. in Pharmaceutical Chemistry, and a B.S. in Pharmacy. She has five years of postdoctoral training in Nutritional Biochemistry. She is an expert in the Bioanalytical method development and method validation, using state-of-the-art technologies, including UPLC/HPLC, GC, MS, PDA, and FLD. She has authored more than 30 peer-reviewed scientific articles.

Thao Nguyen, Manager, Inorganic Analysis

Thao holds a BS in Chemistry from Weber State University. Prior to joining Dyad Labs, Thao worked at Reckitt Benckiser as a Sr. Chemist. She has extensive experience in the analysis of dietary supplements, and specifically on the use of ICP/MS.

Les Reeves, Quality Assurance Manager

Les received an education in Biology and Chemistry education at Dixie State College and Southern Utah University. He is an expert in GMP manufacturing guidelines and analytical instrumentation. He also has a strong background in pharmaceutical development, including clinical trials.

Avrielle Jensen, Sr. Account Manager

She received a Degree in Psychology from Brigham Young University. Avrielle has over 4 years experience in lab client services. She provides the best support to clients and focuses on improved partnerships and processes for enhanced customer experiences.

Transparency Programs
